Why we created Career Match
Our incredibly talented and committed women of color in fundraising and philanthropy are our best resources, and we constantly remind them that tapping into diverse thinking is common sense. Better informed funding decisions come when the principles of diversity and inclusion are applied for a more comprehensive analysis of problems and their solutions—this is our firm belief behind every program we conduct here. So we decided to practice what we preach: bring our highly skilled WOC® members together with executive search firms eager to help their clients be inclusive and diverse. We wanted to do more than instruct. Career Match by WOC ™ is our way of being part of the solution.
Our Career Match Plans
Candidates
Career Match by WOC ™ prepares qualified candidates (who must be active members of WOC®; click here to join today) for a successful job search by providing coaching and resume review and then giving exposure to recruiters seeking women of color to fill exclusive job openings in the fundraising and philanthropic sectors. It’s a strategic approach to the job match process, with the goal of increasing prospects of finding an employer looking for someone just like you.
Search Firms
We offer recruiters (search firms and independent company owners) connections to talented WOC® members actively seeking employment in the fundraising and philanthropy industries who are well-prepared for the job search journey. Candidates in Career Match by WOC ™ are available exclusively to search firm subscribers.
